DGP emphasises on need for operational alertness

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat, on Wednesday emphasised on the need for operational alertness.

The DGP flanked by ADGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain, DIG JKS Range Shiv Kumar Sharma and SSP Kathua Shobhit Saxena, on Wednesday visited the FOBs on Kathua-Doda border.

During the visit, as per the official communique, the DGP interacted with all ranks of various security forces.

He was briefed on the current security scenario and the attendant challenges.

The DGP emphasized on the need for operational alertness, focused execution of tasks and resolute will and appreciated the special teams for their proactive approach and dogged determination.

The ADGP Jammu Zone highlighted the significance of constant training and capacity building.

DIG JKS, SSP Kathua and senior officers from the Army briefed the DGP about the ongoing initiatives to strengthen the security grid in the district and measures being taken to address local issues.
