Rajouri: A sign of relief has emerged in Badhal village of Rajouri as three sisters who were airlifted to GMC Jammu six days ago have been discharged after making a full recovery.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that the sisters, aged 23, 18, and 16, were admitted to GMC Jammu for medical treatment after being evacuated from the village.

Following their recovery, they have been brought back to the separation facility established at GMC Rajouri, the sources said.

The trio had been part of an emergency evacuation amid health concerns in Badhal village, where several mysterious deaths had sparked panic. Authorities ensured all necessary medical attention for their recovery.

From the past week, no new case has been reported from the village, and over 300 people have been quarantined for their safety.

All entry and exit points leading to the area have been sealed, and no one is allowed to enter or leave Badhal village.

It is important to note that 17 individuals, including 13 children, from three families in Badhal village died recently under suspicious circumstances. Investigations into the matter are still underway. (JKNS)
