Srinagar: A two-story government residential quarter in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, was engulfed in flames on tuesday morning, leaving one person injured.
An official told news agency JKNS that the fire broke out in the two story residential quarter in Jawaher Nagar Srinagar.
Firefighting teams, with assistance from locals, managed to bring the blaze under control after several hours of effort.
Before arrival of Fire service, one civilian was injured and was shifted to nearby hospital,” the official added.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further investigations are underway. (JKNS)
