Traffic Restricted on Sinthon Top NH-244 to Ensure Winter Safety

Srinagar: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Kokernag has issued an order regarding traffic movement towards Sinthon Top on NH-244 (Anantnag-Kishtwar Highway) for the winter months of 2024 and 2025.

“Due to heavy snowfall, frozen and slippery road conditions, there is a high risk of road accidents. To ensure safety, traffic will only be allowed from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM during dry weather conditions, starting from December 12, 2024,” an order, a copy of which lies with the news agency JKNS, reads.
