Jammu: The joint team of Army and Police on Wednesday launched Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) near the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that acting on intelligence inputs about suspicious movement near the LoC, a CASO was launched in Vihari Rakh forest area of Mendhar sector.
“The searches were intensified in the area while the vehicles were also frisked,” they said.
Sources added that nothing has been found so far while the search operation was in progress.
