Bandipora: The Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Sonawari, Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone today chaired an introductory cum First review meeting with Sub Division Officers In Dak Bungalow Sumbal on thursday.
The meeting was attended by SDM Sumbal Murtaza Ahmad, Tehsildar Sumbal Tehsildar Hajin, BDO Sumbal , BDO Hajin, BMO Hajin and sectoral officers.
The Officers from R&B, Jal Shakti, Health, School Education, Irrigation, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, etc presented the department-wise activities, development and welfare initiatives being undertaken in the Sonawari Assembly Constituency.
On the occasion, MLA took stock of various developmental issues pertaining to PDD, road connectivity, water supply issues, health, school education, accelerating irrigation canals network, rural development, horticulture, agriculture works and schemes and other issues of public importance.
The MLA discussed and deliberated on various public welfare measures and sought details of ongoing activities and requirements, department wise.
While addressing the inaugural meeting with Officers, the MLA sought the fullest cooperation of departments in strengthening the public service delivery.
