*October 24:* “`In connection with the observance of Police Flag Day-2024 and to pay rich tributes to the police martyrs, police in Srinagar under the Civic Action Program distributed Blankets among the families of police martyrs at DPL Srinagar.

 

On the occasion, SSP Srinagar Shri Imtiyaz Hussain, all Zonal SsP of District Srinagar including Shri Mubashir Hussain Shri Shah, Shri Hilal Khaliq, Shri Showkat Ahmad, Shri Imtiyaz Ahmad, SP PC Srinagar Shri Iftikhar Talib, DySP Hqrs Srinagar, DySP DAR DPL Srinagar and other officers were also present.

 

While interacting with the families of Police martyrs, SSP Srinagar assured them enduring support and co-operation from the J&K Police fraternity. The officers also paid rich tributes to the martyrs who had laid down their lives valiantly in the service of the nation. During the meeting, police officers present keenly heard the grievances and assured them of timely disposal of the same. All the participants were served with refreshment on the occasion.“`
