KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 13: The postal ballot voting for Polling staff and Associated Officials was smoothly conducted here today under the supervision of District Election Officer Rajesh Kumar Shavan, who also cast his vote at the facilitation Centre set up in the District Administrative Complex.
Senior officers including ADC, ACR and other employees/officials in Kishtwar, but belonging to other districts also joined the DC in the voting process.
The provision of Postal Ballot voting is part of the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) initiative to ensure that all eligible voters, including those on election duties, are able to exercise their democratic rights.
A total of 309 election duty voters from the different districts, all of which are also part of the first phase of the Assembly Elections, successfully cast their postal ballots. The voting took place in a secure and organized manner, following all guidelines and protocol issued by the ECI to ensure transparency and fairness.
