DODA, SEPTEMBER 09: To promote environmental sustainability and Voter awareness, the Office of Chief Electoral Officer, UT of J&K, and District Election Officer Doda, Harvinder Singh, launched the Green SVEEP campaign as part of the General Elections to Legislative Assembly (GELA) 2024, here today.
A series of activities under Green SVEEP were held at Polling Station-53, Assembly Constituency 51, HSS Berarru, aiming to plant 5610 trees across the district.
District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Parkash Lal Thapa, (CEO Doda), Principal HSS Berreau, Anjeel Kumar Thakur, and BLO Mushtaq Ahmed participated in the plantation drive, setting an example for others to follow.
This initiative contributes to the Election Commission’s ongoing efforts to make elections more environmentally conscious and sustainable for future generations.
