DODA, SEPTEMBER 06: In the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Assembly Election 2024, General Observer Aditya Negi, for Assembly Constituency (AC) 52- Doda and AC 53- Doda west, conducted a thorough inspection of key election facilities in the region.
Aditya Negi visited the Intermediate Strong Room located at High School (HS) Sawara to assess the security measures in place. He carefully examined the arrangements to ensure the safekeeping of EVMs and other sensitive election materials.
Additionally, Aditya Negi checked the Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) at the polling station in HS Sawara, reviewing the availability of basic amenities for voters, including accessibility for persons with disabilities. He then proceeded to inspect the polling station at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Chilli Paine and other adjoining areas to ensure proper arrangements and preparedness ahead of the elections.
The visit forms part of a broader effort to ensure that all election-related infrastructure and facilities are in line with the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
