SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 02: The streets of Sopore came alive today with the sound of dol (drum) beats as Returning Officer 07-Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina, accompanied by Nodal Officer SVEEP, Baramulla, Shabir Ahmad Khan, led a vibrant Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) rally.
This blend of culture where the local artists performed Band Paether, aimed at promoting greater voter participation in the upcoming Assembly Elections, witnessed an enthusiastic turnout from the community.
The rally was marked by the participation of hundreds of first-time voters, students, and community leaders, all of whom marched through the streets of Sopore with energy, showcasing their commitment to exercising their democratic rights and encouraging others to do the same.
