*August 09:* “`Police in Budgam observes Thana Diwas at PS Budgam, PS Charar Sharief and PP Narbal respectively.
The Event was chaired by respective jurisdictional officers. During these events, the officers listened to the various grievances of the public and assured them that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority & that of the other departments will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
The participants were requested to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and identifying anti-national and anti-social elements in the area.
The people of the area lauded the efforts of J&K Police in organising such programmes which serves the locality in many ways.“`
