Police carries out plantation drive in Ganderbal

*August 09:* “`As a part of the ongoing campaign under the theme “Ek Paed Shahedoun Ke Naam”, Police in Ganderbal in collaboration with Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal carried plantation drive and planted saplings of different plant species in the loving memory of J&K Police Martyrs.

SSP Ganderbal Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS participated in the plantation drive organised at DPO Ganderbal in the loving memory of Martyr Police Ct. Altaf Hussain. NOKs of the Martyred Constable, Senior Police Officers of the district also took part in the drive.

In addition, SP Hqrs Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS also participated in the plantation drive carried out in the loving memory of Martyr Ct. Manzoor Ahmad at Govt. Middle School Gundi Rahman accompanied by NOKs of Police Martyrs, other senior officers & students.

Additionally, at DPL Ganderbal DySP DAR Shri Nazir Ahmad accompanied by Range Officer Sindh Forest Division Ganderbal participated in the plantation drive organised in the loving memory of Martyr SgCt. Bal Krishnan Koul and Martyr Ct. Farooq Ahmad in which NOKs of the Police Martyrs & senior officers of Police also participated.

The initiative is being taken to inculcate the sense of patriotism and responsibility among the citizens towards the motherland, besides creating awareness about the supreme sacrifices of our brave hearts who gave ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the nation and common people.“`
