In a momentous event that signifies a notable shift in the political landscape of Ilahi Bagh, Srinagar, a grand assembly was convened today under the esteemed leadership of Shri Ashok Bhat Ji, District President of Srinagar. For the first time in history, the residents of Ilahi Bagh have come together under the banner of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), showcasing their support and confidence in a prominent national political entity.This unprecedented gathering, which saw a significant presence of senior citizens, marks a pivotal moment as the community unitedly extended an invitation to the BJP to conduct a convention within their vicinity. It is noteworthy that, until this day, no political party—be it regional or national—has organized such a significant event in Ilahi Bagh, Srinagar.Shri Ashok Bhat, a distinguished leader and the driving force behind this historic initiative, delivered an address filled with messages of hope and rejuvenation. He shed light on the disillusionment prevailing among the people towards conventional regional parties such as the NC and PDP, emphasizing their consistent failure to deliver on promises. In his discourse, Shri Bhat underscored the BJP’s unwavering dedication to transparency, development, and inclusive progress, striking a chord with the audience.In addition to this historic gathering, Shri Ashok Bhat District President of Srinagar, visited Dargah Hazratbal to review the arrangements in view of the forthcoming Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW). He assured the residents of Hazratbal shall not face any difficulties regarding basic amenities and resolved several long-pending issues on the spot. His efforts to facilitate lighting at the Dargah Hazratbal in view of forthcoming Urs e Mubarak. Pertinent to mention that the overwhelming turnout Illahi Bagh witnessed at the event symbolize a definitive departure from the past and a hopeful embrace of a novel political trajectory. The residents of Ilahi Bagh, weary of years of unmet promises, have demonstrated their willingness to align with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s vision for a forward-looking and prosperous future.This landmark assembly, under the stalwart leadership of Shri Ashok Bhat Ji, marks a historical political shift.
