*Poonch, August 01:* In a move to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary (IAS), along with senior district officials, visited the Buddha Amarnath Ji Temple in Mandi and chaired a meeting with the committee.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of all the necessary arrangements, including Langars, cleanliness, toilet facilities, waterproof tents, drainage at the Mandi Mandir Complex, accommodation, vehicle parking, sanitation, medical facilities, uninterrupted supply of water and light, PA System, and various other arrangements for the pilgrimage.

The Deputy Commissioner announced that the Holi Aarti program of the Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra (Charri Mubarak) will be special broadcast on Shraddha TV (MH1) from 10:00 am onwards on August 18th, allowing people across the country to witness the auspicious event from the comfort of their homes.

Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to ensure the completion of ongoing construction work inside the temple, maintain the cleanliness of the temple premises, including the proper cleaning of all bathrooms, and make proper arrangements for lighting around the temple.

After the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a comprehensive inspection of the mandir complex, including the toilet complex, Langer hall, and the overall arrangements around the temple.

Concluding the visit, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure seamless facilities and services for the upcoming Shri Buddha Amarnath Ji Yatra in 2024, underscoring the government’s commitment to providing a comfortable and memorable experience for the pilgrims.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch, Sandesh Kumar Sharma, Adll.SP, Mushim Ahmed, Officers from BSF, CMO. Dr.Zulafkar Ahmed, District Information Officer, Vishaldeep Chandan, CAO, Rakesh Sharma, CHO, Sanjeev Sharma, Deputy CMO, Dr. P.A khan,Tehsildar Mandi, Ashfaq Hussain, SHO Mandi, Sunil Singh, BDO Mandi, Sunil Bhatia, CEO Municipality, Yaqoob Choudhary, Xen PWD, Imtiaz Mir, XEN PDD, Aftab Hussain, Xen PHE, Rashpal, besides Committe of Shri Budha Amarnath Ji, Adv.Gulshan Kumar, President VHP, Nishu Gupta and other officers and committe members.
