Instructs concerned to ensure timely completion of digitization of village profile through BISAG
KULGAM, JULY 25: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today chaired a meeting at the mini-secretariat Kulgam to review the functioning of the Revenue Department.
At the outset, the DC reviewed the status of online grievances and the public services delivery system.
He emphasized the importance of efficient and prompt delivery of public services, urging all Tehsildars to ensure that services are delivered to the highest standards and within the timelines as envisaged under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA).
The DC also conducted a comprehensive review of the Revenue Department’s ongoing initiatives, focusing on the digitization and geo-referencing of cadastral maps.
He instructed concerned officers to ensure timely completion of digitization of village profile through BISAG.
He also stressed upon achieving the target of 100% inheritance mutations with no deceased individuals left in the revenue records.
With regard to updation of Maps, Officers were instructed to incorporate all mutations into updated maps to align them with Jamabandi records, facilitating seamless digitization.
The DC emphasized the importance of these initiatives in improving transparency, efficiency, and accuracy in the land records management system.
The meeting was attended by ACR Kulgam, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone; SDM Noorabad, Bashir Ul Hassan, all Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
