SAMBA, JULY 06: In a proactive response, the district administration Samba has resolved a dispute surrounding an under construction drain in Chak Manga, which has led rain water into the residential houses.
Responding to the reports of blockage of the drain and the water entering the local houses in Ward No. 13, Chak Manga, the district administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma promptly dispatched a team to the site, including ACR Dr. Kusum Chib, Tehsildar and the EO of Municipality.
The team investigated the situation and identified that the blockage was caused intentionally by a few residents who had stopped the ongoing construction work of the drain.
To resolve the issue, a temporary drain was immediately dug to facilitate the flow of water and alleviate the flooding. The swift action taken by the district administration successfully resolved the problem, ensuring the safety and comfort of the affected residents.
The locals expressed gratitude towards the district administration for their quick and effective response in addressing the water drainage issue and resolving the dispute.
