During the meeting, Tarun Chugh targeted the Congress party for the Emergency, which dissolved the elected government. He emphasized that programs are being held across the country today against the Emergency, reflecting on how the Congress exploited the Constitution of India for personal gain.

Chugh criticized the Congress for its focus on inheriting power and for introducing a dictatorship, stating, “This is the same Congress which dissolved the elected government and exploited the Constitution of India for their personal gain. The people of the country are organizing programs across the country today, remembering this chapter of the Congress.”

The meeting was attended by senior leaders, state office bearers, and the District Srinagar team.
