Srinagar, April 02 :- A minor boy drowned to death in the river Jhelum in Noorbagh area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Tuesday afternoon officials said.

Reports reaching said that a 12 year old boy identified as Muneer Ahmad Khanday son of Mohammad Maqbool Khanday resident of Noorbagh drowned in river in his native area.

 

They said that the boy was evacuated and shifted to SMHS where doctors declared him brought dead.

 

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(KS)
