February 27: “In order to strengthen bond with the families of Police Martyrs and to know their grievances, Police in Pulwama have facilitated a meeting with the NOKs of Police Martyrs at DPL Pulwama and was chaired by DySP DAR Pulwama.
The aim of the meeting was to know the well-being of the families of Police martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. A large number of NOKs of Police martyrs of district Pulwama were present in the meeting.
During interaction, various grievances were raised by the participants, who were assured that their grievances will be redressed on priority. The chairing officer in his address assured the NOKs every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones for the sake of nation. He also informed the participants that various welfare measures have been taken by the Police department for the welfare of the NOKs and J&K Police are committed to provide every possible assistance to the families of Police martyrs as and when needed. He further said that police martyrs are an unforgettable member of Police Parivar and taking care of their NOKs is prime responsibility of Police department as the martyrs sacrificed their lives for our better future.“`
