Police arrests terrorist associate of LeT in Baramulla;  01 grenade recovered

February 27:“Police alongwith security forces in Baramulla have arrested a terrorist associate linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT and recovered a hand grenade from his possession.

On a specific input regarding movement of terrorists in Pattan area, a joint Naka was established at Chinar Crossing Pattan by Baramulla Police, SSB (2nd Bn) & Army (29 RR). During checking, a suspicious person was intercepted who on seeing police party tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully by the joint parties of Police and security forces. He has been identified as Mehraj ud Din Bhat son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat resident of Mundyari Pattan.
