Ganderbal, 31 january 2024: In a bid to foster cultural exchange and broaden the horizons of young minds, the District Police Ganderbal, under its Civic Action Programme (CAP), flagged off a Bharat Darshan tour for 64 students today. The event was graced by SSP Ganderbal, Sandeep Gupta IPS, along with DYSP Headquarters Gh Hassan and other police officers.
SSP Ganderbal, while addressing the students, emphasized the significance of the Bharat Darshan tour in providing a unique opportunity for the youth to embrace the unity amidst India’s vast diversity. He highlighted the J&K Police’s commitment to expose the younger generation to the country’s diverse tourist attractions, historical landmarks, and renowned workplaces, fostering an appreciation for art, culture, and the rich tapestry of the nation.
The week long tour will take the students through the historical gems of Delhi and Chennai, offering them insights into the country’s vibrant heritage.
SSP Ganderbal extended his best wishes for a happy and safe journey, encouraging the participants to make the most of this educational excursion. He underscored the tour’s role in shaping responsible citizens and expressed confidence that the experience would contribute to the students’ holistic development.
