DC Doda reviews preparedness for Panchayat Secretary Recruitment Exam

DODA, DECEMBER 5: Deputy Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh, led a meeting in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex to evaluate the preparations for the upcoming OMR-based recruitment exam for Panchayat Secretary posts being conducted by the J&K Service Selection Board.

The meeting, attended by SSP Doda Abdul QAYOOM, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar Bharti, observers, and district officers, delved into crucial aspects of the examination.

Discussions encompassed the deployment of Magistrates, supervisory staff, examination observers, and videography of the exam.

The DC stressed the importance of training staff and providing necessary facilities for a seamless examination process. Furthermore, the deployment of female police personnel and security arrangements for storing sensitive material was tasked to the police department.

Instructing officers to ensure ample staff deployment at examination centers, the DC emphasized the need for backup arrangements to tackle unforeseen circumstances. Transportation of examination materials and logistics planning were also key points of discussion. The examination, scheduled for December 10, 2023, from 12 noon to 2 pm, will take place across 38 examination centers, expecting around 9000 aspirants. The meeting concluded with directives to concerned departments to finalize all necessary arrangements, highlighting the importance of coordination and cohesion for a smooth and peaceful examination.

The DC issued specific directives to various departments, including a ban on mobile phones and electronic devices inside examination centers. The PDD department was directed to ensure proper power supply during the examination hours, while the Jal Shakti department was tasked with arranging adequate water supply at all examination centers. The ARTO Doda received instructions to ensure proper vehicle arrangements required for conducting the examination.
