Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Gains Ground in Kupwara District: VBSY Marks Presence on the Line of Control.

Kupwara, Nov 29 The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a nationwide initiative to inform and empower citizens about Central government schemes, gained momentum in the frontier Kupwara district. Today’s session was conducted in Panchayats of Teetwal and Forward Jabdi of Karnah Tehsil, close to the Line of Control (LOC).
Large crowds participated in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Panchayats including Ibkote, Jabdi, Prada, Sadipora (Dhani), Seemari, Taad of Teetwal Block. Despite cold weather, PRI members, locals, and government officials enthusiastically joined the campaign.

Participants listened keenly to a recorded message from the Prime Minister and took the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge, affirming commitment to holistic development.

SDM Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather, visited Bijaldhar-Jabdi Panchayat near the LOC, administering the pledge and reviewing winter preparedness. Jan Bhagidari events, health camps, and cultural displays were integral, showcasing schemes like Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, and more.

The schemes publicized today include Ayushman Bharat, National Rural Livelihoods Mission, PM Awas Yojana (Rural), PM Ujjwala Yojana, and others. Individual success stories shared during the Yatra highlighted the transformative impact of government initiatives.

Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra stands as the largest-ever outreach initiative of the Government of India, reflecting a vision of inclusive development.
