In a collaborative effort to empower students and foster entrepreneurship, Government Degree College played host to an awareness program organized by the Animal Husbandry Department Block Narbal. The event aimed to enlighten students about various beneficial schemes tailored to encourage the establishment of individual units within the animal husbandry sector.

The awareness program featured insightful sessions led by experts from the Animal Husbandry Department, highlighting the diverse range of schemes available for aspiring entrepreneurs in the field. Topics covered included financial assistance, skill development initiatives, and regulatory support provided by the department to facilitate the setup and growth of animal husbandry units.

The event was participated by the students, faculty members while as Principal of the College Prof. (Dr) Mohammad Hussain Malik presided over the function.

Speaking about the collaboration, officials of the Animal Husbandry Department, expressed enthusiasm about engaging with the student community. “Our goal is to inspire and equip the next generation of entrepreneurs in the animal husbandry sector. By creating awareness about the available schemes and support mechanisms, we hope to catalyze the establishment of successful ventures.”

The event witnessed active participation from students pursuing various disciplines, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and opportunities. College authorities praised the Animal Husbandry Department for its commitment to nurturing local talent and encouraging self-employment.

Prof. (Dr) Mohammad Hussain Malik, Principal of Government Degree College, Magam said, “We are delighted to provide a platform for our students to gain valuable insights into the entrepreneurial landscape of animal husbandry. Such collaborations are instrumental in preparing our students for real-world challenges and opportunities.”

The awareness program served as a valuable resource for students, shedding light on the potential avenues within the animal husbandry sector and equipping them with the knowledge to explore entrepreneurial endeavors.
