Kupwara, Nov 24: The Deputy Commisioner Kupwara, Ms.Ayushi Sudan chaired a meeting of District Officers here in the meeting hall of the DC Office Complex to discuss and strategize the seamless and successful execution of the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” in the district.

Deputy Commisioner stressed upon the district officers and Sectoral officers to adopt a collaborative approach to make the VBSY a success in the district.
At the outset, the ADDC Kupwara, Altaf Ahmad Khan while briefing the chair provided insights into the preparations and department -wise arrangements to Saturate schemes under the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
ADDC further said that tomorrow on Nov 25, VBSY is being held in 20 Panchayats of Tangdar, Keran and Machil blocks.

While addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commisioner stressed on making comprehensive arrangements for the successful conduct of the yatra. She said that comprehensive planning is aimed to guarantee a successful and impactful Yatra for the benefit of the community.

DC asked the district officers to focus on parameters like capturing and uploading number of events carried out and number of beneficiaries enrolled during VBSY. She directed BDOs and Tehsildars will ensure mass mobilization and participation of people in Yatra. She further impressed that all the Departments will ensure their attendance at the venues so that people left out under welfare schemes are covered to the maximum number and directed all departments to put up their stalls and ensure that services rendered are uploaded.
DC asked officers to showcase the achievements of the concerned panchayat and celebrate them.
Review meeting was attended by ADDC, JD Planning and senior district Officers and Sectoral officers.
