The ADDC briefed the meeting about the plan formulated and the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the district.

The ADDC informed that the Yatra will commence on 20th of November 2023 and continue for 20 days during which it will visit all 143 Panchayats of the district. The importance of data collection, careful planning, innovation, and collaborative efforts were stressed upon to ensure the success of this initiative. The DSEO will be the head of the District Level Control room which will function to collect the data and monitor the programme.

The ADDC directed BDOs to coordinate the arrangements in their respective blocks as per plan as per the directions already passed.

The focus of the Yatra will be on reaching out to people, raising awareness, reciting Sankalp of Viksit Bharat by locals and offering the advantages of welfare programs including access to electricity connections, sanitation facilities, basic financial services, food security, healthy nutrition, dependable healthcare, clean drinking water, LPG cylinder etc.

To enhance the efficiency of the campaign, an IT portal has been established at the district level that will serve as a centralized hub for event monitoring and information dissemination, the meeting was told.
