Tangdar Karnah : In a heartwarming display of unity and community spirit, the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign event in Block Tangdar left a lasting impression. Under the guidance of the Block Development Officer (BDO) Tangdar, Tawheed Ahmad Mir, this initiative aimed to connect the residents of the region through the shared significance of soil and agriculture.

The highlight of the event was the collection of soil and rice from various villages and Panchayats, symbolizing the ties that bind these communities together. As soil and rice from these diverse locales were brought to the Block Headquarters, it was a powerful representation of the unity among the people of Tangdar.

Adding to the event’s significance, Deputy Commanding Officer (Dy CO) Dr. Saif and the 89 Bn BSF team extended their support to the campaign. Their participation underscored the importance of such community-driven initiatives.

The event witnessed an impressive turnout, with a diverse crowd in attendance, including the general public, Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, and enthusiastic school children. Their presence highlighted the active engagement of the community in the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign, emphasizing the shared connection to the land.
