Chairperson DDC Ramban kick starts blacktopping of road in Sub Division Gool

RAMBAN, OCTOBER 12: Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr Shamshad Shan today kick-started black-topping of NABARD road from Panchayat Ghar Dalwah to Guralkhud bridge via Government High School Dalwah in Sub Division Gool of Ramban District.

The construction work on 1.5 km stretch will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 250 lakh under NABARD.

Addressing the gathering, the Chairperson said that with the completion of the project, a long pending demand of the area will be fulfilled which will go a long way in easing the life of locals.

The Chairperson directed the officers of PWD (R&B) and line Departments to ensure quality and timely completion of construction work which will benefit hundreds of souls of the area.

Among others, AEE, Vimal Sidha, JE Haider Ali, PRIs and locals were present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson along with a team of Floriculture Department also inspected various locations to develop a Floriculture park in Sub Division Gool.

The Chairperson also interacted with the locals and listened to their issues of developmental needs. She also issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned for their early redressal.
