Sopore 13 September : sr congress leader altaf malik has expressed his grave concern over the removal of customs duty on usa apple and other import products during G20 summit in india which is detrimental for local apple industry
Altaf said that post 2019 the kashmir apple growers faced huge losses due to bad situations, covid ,climatic changes taxes imposition ,highway blockades ,prices decrease at the same time local growers were expecting a special package might be given to local growers to meet the previous losses but the GOIs custom removing duties on usa produts particularly apples disappointed them at large
