ADDC Ganderbal chairs grievances redressal camp at Wakura

GANDERBAL, AUGUST 30: Continuing the efforts to reach out to people, the District Administration Ganderbal today held grievance redressal camp as part of weekly Block Diwas programme at Tehsil Office Wakura.

The Block Diwas was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.

The camp was attended by PRI members of block Wakura and prominent citizens of adjoining areas who highlighted the issues and demands pertaining to their areas.

The demands highlighted included augmentation of power and water supply, development of roads, dredging of irrigation canals and other issues of public importance.

The ADDC listened to all the issues raised by the public and PRIs and assured that demands raised will be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt redressal.

He passed necessary directions to the officers for ensuring timely redressal of the genuine concerns and several issues were redressed on spot.

Addressing the people, the ADDC reiterated that the District Administration is committed to ensuring that all basic amenities are available to the public at their doorstep and stressed upon the officers to prioritize the demands and redress them within the stipulated timelines.

On the occasion Officers and officials from various departments informed the public about different schemes and programs being implemented by departments in the district and encouraged them to take advantage of their benefits.

The programme was attended by CPO, Irfan Ahmed Giri; Tehsildar Wakura, CMO, BDO Wakura besides other district and sectoral officers.
