(Sufi Media Services)A prestigious event was organized by Waza Mahmood Anjuman-e-Adab and Khanwada Waza Mahmood in Wagoora, Baramulla, in memory of Man-e-Mooj. Manzoora Khurshid, from Raj Bagh, Srinagar, was bestowed with the title of Man-e-Mooj for her extraordinary contributions to the field of Tasawwuf. She was born in Raj Bagh, Srinagar, in1965 and passed away on March 23 This year.She devoted most of her life to worshipping the Almighty and supporting the mission of Sufi Saints.
The event was primarily coordinated by Zaffar Ahmad Bhat,Chairman of the Haytun Nabi Sufiya Movement, for which he received praise from Jenab Khurshid Ahmad Waza, a direct descendant of Arif Billah Of Kashmir Waza Mahmood and Arif Billah Hazrat Shah Fareed.The program commenced with the recitation of the Quran by Muhammad Younis Baba and a Naat performed by Khurshid Ahmad Baba.Jenab Khurshid Ahmad Waza delivered the welcome speech, and Muhammad Younis Shaib, Secretary of Waza Mahmood Anjuman-e-Adabanchored the program.
Mehfil-e-sama graced the occasion, during which leading artists showcased their performances. Ustaad Gulzar Ahmad Ganai, Chairman of Gulukaar Society Kashmir, was also present at the event.Sing Saba Baramulla participated in the memorial event and praised the teachings of Sufi saints.This event marked the first time it was organized in Najji Bhat Wagoora, Baramulla.
Zaffar Ahmad Bhat shed light on the life of Man-e-Mooj and emphasized the role of women in self-realization. He stated that nature has chosen the female form to bring its creation into existence, and contemporary Tasawwuf should transcend the mere physical identity of women.There is a profound connection between nature and this female form.

Hundreds of audience members to honor his significant contributions in spreading the message of Waza Mahmood, a distinguished Sufi poet.
Several intellectuals and scholars shared their thoughts and expressed deep admiration for Man-e-Mooj. Muhammad Umran, President of The Hidden Human Research Foundation, commended the organizers for hosting such an event that celebrates women’s achievements and self-realization. He added that this is a reflection of a progressive society.
