Poonch: Rent Assessment Committee approves 13 cases

DC emphasises timely payment, safety of government property

The District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC) today approved 13 cases at its meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Yasin M. Choudhary.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi, Xen PWD (R&B) Yasir Bashir Khichloo, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. S.M Younis, District Social Welfare Officer Mohinder Paul, Assistant Director Handloom Shazia Rehman, Assistant Director Food Ranjeet Singh, District Youth & Sports Officer Mohd. Qasim, and Field Officer JKPCC Naseem Shah, along with building owners and respective departmental representatives.

The approved rent assessment cases pertained to the CID/CI, CID/SB, Handicraft, District Youth & Sports Department, Social Welfare Department, CAPD Department, and Animal Husbandry Department.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of paying rent to building owners on time and ensuring the safety and security of government and rented property.
