In a significant display of communal harmony, BJP District President Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, along with his members, joined the Shia community at Dabb Shallabugh to observe Youm-e-Ashoora. The event marked a momentous occasion as it showcased unity and respect for diverse beliefs. During the solemn occasion, Mr. Shah expressed his appreciation to the LG administration for allowing mourning processions in Lal Chowk and other places after a hiatus of 30 years. This gesture was seen as a step towards promoting inclusivity and acknowledging the right of every community to commemorate their religious events. Furthermore, Mr. Shah credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their contributions to restoring peace in the Kashmir valley. He emphasized the importance of their initiatives in creating an environment conducive to dialogue and reconciliation.
In his tribute to Imam Hussain, Mr. Shah quoted a saying that resonated with the community, underscoring the significance of sacrifice, justice, and empathy in times of adversity. In conclusion, the participation of BJP District President Mohammad Amin Shah and his members in the Youm-e-Ashoora observance exemplifies the spirit of unity and inclusivity. It also serves as a testament to the positive impact of open dialogue and collaboration among various communities in Kashmir. Shah, also paid his gratitude towards district administration and police to make it possible for Shia community to observe Youm-e-Ashoora.
