The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb today extended his warm greetings to the people of the District on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, wishing them well-being and prosperity.
The DC said that the people must observe this Eid by spreading the message of peace, harmony and brotherhood among the people.
He said Eid ul Adha is a great occasion of showing gratitude to the Almighty by performing sacrifices and that we must celebrate this festival with its true essence of compassion and kindness towards one another especially towards the needy and poor.
He said that Eid-ul-Adha reminds us of our responsibility to help poor and inculcate the spirit of sharing happiness and joy with everyone.
