In order to review the working of education sector in the district, the Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya chaired a meeting of officers of education department today.
Earlier, Chief Education Officer, Geetu Bangotra apprised the DC about the education profile of the district.
The DC took zone-wise extensive review of the functioning of the educational zones of the district from concerned Zonal Education Officers. The DC emphasised upon the officers to ensure quality of teaching learning process and stressed upon the importance of regular and effective monitoring of functioning of the schools for better outcome and instructed the ZEOs to conduct frequent visits to schools in their respective areas.
He directed them to conduct regular field visits in their respective areas and prepare the record note on daily basis. DC emphasised on regular inspection of schools by the ZEOs to check the attendance of the teaching staff and academic activities. ZEOs were directed to take all necessary measures to ensure that all teachers attend school regularly and perform their duties utmost dedication. He directed the ZEOs to workout school wise remedial classes and prepare the plan immediately besides Principal DIET was directed to organise training programme in the district.
