Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan inspected the quality of medical services, attendance of staff and patient care in Government Public Health Centre Gundna in Medical Block Ghat, the other day.

The DDC inspected the ward, OPD and other sections of the hospital and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients.

 

Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Ab Hamid Zargar, apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the staff position and facilities being provided to the patients.

 

The DC also interacted with the patients to understand their healthcare needs and listened to their feedback regarding the quality of healthcare services provided by the hospital. The DC directed the hospital staff to take necessary measures to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

 

Later, the DC along with the CMO also reviewed the progress of under construction work of new PHC building. They directed the executing agency to expedite the construction work and use quality material.

 

The DC’s visit was aimed to assess the functioning of the public institutions in the area and identify the gaps that need to be filled to improve the delivery of essential services to the local community.
