KUPWARA, APRIL 28: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray visited Trumnard Batpora in Haihama area to condole the demise of 8-year old Abrar Ahmad Qureshi S/o Farooq Ahmad Qureshi who died in a road accident at Mougalpora Kupwara on April 27. The Deputy Commissioner offered his condolences with the bereaved family and prayed for courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Deputy Commisioner was accompanied by Tehsildar Kupwara, Nayaz Ahmad Bhat and officers from local Army unit and Police. Pertinently, 8 year old Abrar Ahmad Qureshi was hit by a motor cycle at Mughalpora crossing when he was returning to Parrynard at his aunt’s home from school. Locals immediately rushed the injured boy to SDH Kupwara where doctors declared him brought dead. Police have taken cognisance of accident case and registered an FIR.
