Jammu, March 5: Democratic Progressive Azad Party on Sunday held a day long party convention of newly elected office bearers of North, South and Rural Jammu and discussed the ways and strategies to strengthen the party cadre at grass roots. The party ‘s senior leadership presided over the convention and directed office bearers to reach out to the people in the nook and cranny of their respective areas. “I want you to reach out to the last person in your area and percolate your party ideology. It is not only the vote bank that you shall focus on but reaching out to the people with vision and pro development ideology,” said R.S.Chib General Secretary. He said no party flourishes as long as it has no ideological party cadre so it is the duty of every one of you to make people understand what DPAP stands for,” headed. On the occasion, Provincial President Jugal Kishore said that the party workers across the UT recently held peaceful and strong protests against the land eviction process by the government. It was all possible due to the tireless efforts of our local leaders. I want you to keep this energy and enthusiasm maintained among our party workers,” he said.
