Kangan Feb 20: BJP District President Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah along with his team members that include vice-presidents Riyaz Lone, Ruheena Shehzad, District Secretary Syed Ali Asgar, Constituency President Kangan Javaid Ahmad Gounchi visited the families effected by the Landslide at Rezin Gagangeer yesterday. A landslide was triggered at Rezin, Gagangeer, leading to blockage of National Highway. Nearly five houses have been damaged by slide, however no loss of life or injury is reported. Mohammad Amin Shah thanked the rescue teams of District Police, SDRF, and CRPF and Senior Officers of Revenue who handled the situation in a successful manner.  BJP team distributed ration to the effected people who have lost their livestock, property and houses. The team visited on the behalf of Party President for UT J&K Ravindra Raina, General Secretary Ashok Koul and senior leaders Altaf Thakur, Arif Raja, Bilal Parray and Mushtaq Noorabadi. The team appealed LG administration to grant relief to the effected families to rehabilitate them as soon as possible. The BJP team was in contact and coordination with district DC Shymbir, ADC mehraj ud din shah SDM Kangan Javaid Ahmad, SSP Nikihl Borkar,SDPO Kangan Muzzafar Jan, Dysp HQ Ghulam Hassan, SHO gund Arshad salfi, Tehsildar gund javid Ahmad ,AD Food Nisan Ahmad Baba, since yesterday that updated the BJP team regularly on the incident. Adminstration and Police showed a great effort to provide provide relief and rescue while officers visited the place of incidents to take notice of the situation and families.
