SaMBA, FEBRUARY 04: Government Degree College Ramgarh today conducted elections to elect College Presidium.  The election was conducted by the college with an objective to promote civic responsibility, leadership, scholarship and human relations with the student body. Voting was held with great enthusiasm and the result was declared on the same day.   On the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Satinder Kaur, Principal of the College said that representing the academic interests of students should be at the heart of the Union. She further added that the elected students have the ability to drive change. By leading campaigns or organizing events, you can steer the direction of your College, Sports club and your Society.  The elected bodey of students are Amanpreet Kour, Semester V as President; Vimal Singh, Semester 3rd as Vice-President; Anuj Pangotra, Semester 5th as Cultural Secretary;   Aryavansh, semester 3rd as General Secretary; Ashish, Semester 1st as Treasurer; Sneha Salotra, Semester 1st as Joint Treasurer.  The election Commissioner for the election was Dr. Aditi Khajuria, DSW. The election was conducted by Prof. Seema Sharma, Dr. Sandeep Kumar & Prof. Risha Kumari.
