Jammu, January 29: The Director General of Police J&K, Shri Dilbag Singh  inaugurated  V-Lounge in officers mess at Gulshan Ground here today.  Spl DGP Crime,  Shri A. K. Choudhary,  ADGP Armed, S. J. M. Gillani, ADGP Security Shri  Dr. S.D. Singh,  ADGP Jammu Zone Shri Mukesh Singh, ADGP Railway J&K Shri  Sunil Kumar, ADGP (Coord) PHQ J&K Shri Danesh Rana,  Director SKPA Udhampur Shri Garib Dass, IGP  CID J&K Shri Mahendra Nath Tiwari, DIG (admin) PHQ Ms Sarah Rizvi,senior PWWA members and other officers of PHQ were present on the occasion.  The V-Lounge, a multi-purpose hall has been created in officers mess Gulshan Ground with all the necessary facilities. These facilities are in addition to facilities which are already available to the members of the Mess.  Pertinent to mention that Police is running GOs and NGOs messes at different places of the UT which provide accommodation to the touring officers.  Besides,Police Headquarters takes up many works regularly at various places across the UT to provide better accomodation to  officers and Jawans.This includes renovation as well as new works.
