DC Kulgam reviews implementation of ABDP in D. K. Marg, Manzgam Blocks

KULGAM, JANUARY 18: To review the progress made with regard to implementation of Aspirational Block Development Programme (ABDP) in D. K. Marg and Manzgam Blocks, a meeting of officers was today held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at mini-secretariat, here.

At the outset, the DC took a detailed review of the sector wise activities being carried out by the Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, RDD, Education and other Departments in these Blocks of district under ABDP based on various performance indicators covering various aspects including Poverty, Health & Nutrition Education and Basic Infrastructure development etc.

The DC exhorted upon the officers of line and works departments to work in coordinated manner for effective implementation of the programme on ground.

He directed to ensure proper implementation of the programme at grassroots level.

He said the ABDP is a timeline-based programme and requires execution of all activities at a fast pace.

The DC also called for fulfilling all quantifiable indicators under ABDP to undertake developmental activities in each identified Block in the district.

He further asked the concerned departments to adopt best practices so as to get tangible results on ground in a time bound manner.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Showkat Ahmad Rather; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viqar Ahmed Giri, JD-Planning, Zahid Sajad; CMO, CAHO, CAO, CHO and other officers.
