KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 28: Under the umbrella of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and Good Governance campaign,   Animal Husbandry Department Kishtwar  on Wednesday conducted a series of awareness camps besides carrying out allied activities including  distribution of dewormers medicines, major and micronutrient supplements  among the farmers at different places.  Senior officers participated and interacted with the farmers during these camps.  The camp held at Sarthal Agral was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer , Dr Sanjay Kumar Sen. Public as well the PRIs of the area gathered and listened patiently about the departmental  schemes meant for farmers.  The CAHO Kishtwar also distributed animal health cards, KCCs, IDDS, IPDS forms among the farmers. Pamphlets of different schemes were also distributed amongst the public. Grievances of the public were also listened to and resolved on the spot.  Later, free dewormers and other medicines were distributed among the farmers. The public, ward members and sarpanch thanked the department  for organising Ist of its kind camp at Agral Sarthal near Asht Dashbujha Mata temple Sarthal.
