05 IAS Probationers call on DC Kulgam

Five IAS probationers of 2022 batch presently undergoing training at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Public Administration, Mussoorie and are on mandatory Bharat Darshan visit to J&K today called on the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud Din Bhat in his office chamber at mini secretariat, here.

During the interaction, DC shared valuable insights about life in public service and his experience as District Magistrate (DM) in the district.  He also apprised these officers about various youth oriented measures and initiatives and Good Governance practices implemented in the district.  Meanwhile, DC also wished them best for their future endeavors to serve the public with enthusiasm and dedication.

The group of IAS officers included Chiranjeev Anand from Tripura, Shubham Bhaisare from Rajasthan, Prahlad Sharma from Odisha, Rahul Raiya from Haryana and Utkarsh Khandal from West Bengal.  The officers thanked the DC for his valuable suggestions and advice.  Meanwhile these officers also participated in Mega Block Diwas camp held at Kulgam where the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam took first hand appraisal of the issues and grievances of the people for early redressal.

 

All these officers also took firsthand experience of this Mega Block Diwas programme which is a unique initiative of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir where government functionaries reach out to the designated blocks/Subdivisions on the pre-decided dates, interact with the people listen to their issues and grievances for early redressal at their doorsteps.
