It is a proud movement for Government post Graduate College Rajouri that one of its shining student and NSS volunteer Mr. Krfan Khan is one among the 24 students being selected nationally. Mr. Khan have been selected at college level to speak on the occasion. At national level, twenty four students were selected for youth parliament under Azadi ka Amrit Maha utsov.
Programme officer Dr. Naseem Ahmad is making full efforts in grooming the students of the college and NSS volunteers in participating the events in addition to their class work.
While delivering a speech at the central Hall of the parliament in New Delhi on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on third december, Mr. Khan said “the invaluable contributions of Dr. Rajinder Prasad in building a strong nation have to be remembered by each citizen of India and We must remember all those who have given their lives in the sake of freedom.”
His speech was part of the celebrations of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at the Parliament, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr Rajinder Prasad, the First president of Free India .
Mr. Khan is pursuing B.A. from Govt Post Graduate College Rajouri and hailing from Rajouri district, is one among 24 students selected nationally at the college level and the only student from Jammu and Kashmir to speak in the Parliament. He is also participating in many events being organised by NSS wing of the college.
He represented the College at District Level and topped there. He also represented the State in the Youth Parliament.
On reaching back to the college, the Officiating Principal Prof. Javed Iqbal along with the NSS Programme Officer Dr. Naseem Ahmad and other senior faculty members Congratulated and appreciatied Mr. Khan.
