Most Kashmiris are well aware of GSPFP (Global Strategic Policy Foundation Pune), an organisation working extensively in the fields of Defence & Foreign policy, Communal Harmony and National Integration in rest of India for a decade & in Kashmir for last 4 odd years & said to have the best & fastest growing ground network in all ten districts of Kashmir & a few in Jammu. It’s strategy to reach the very grassroot level, understanding & solving day to day problems of common people & to tackle most difficult & tough regions in the hinterland of valley first, has gained it great popularity amongst masses of Kashmir valley. GSPFP organized various programs including promotion of tourism, handicrafts, education, employment, folk dance & music, sports, G20 summit (2023) in Kashmir, anti-narcotics/narco-terrorism awareness rallies, felicitation of real heroes of Kashmir etc. GSPFP uses it’s organisational influence in rest of India to help solve issues of groups of people, be it road connectivity for Gujjar/Bakkarwal/Paharis staying in hilly areas, be it stringent laws passed against Sufi Shrines or arranging sale of artifacts of Kashmiri artisans in rest of India or Job Fairs. Thus facilitating the welfare & interests of common Kashmiris, GSPFP has gone a very long way towards smooth, lasting, inclusive National Integration.
After having established a bond of love, care & trust with Kashmiris & providing a broad pathway for Integration with rest of India, the organisation now plans to kick start the 2nd phase of activities in J&K starting this November.
Though GSPFP is a strictly non-partisan, non-political organisation, it hails the highest the oldest, the largest, the real, vibrant, transparent, democratic values of India since millennia & won’t shy away from democratic processes in Kashmir. In the coming elections in Jammu & Kashmir, GSPFP will play a very positive role in a neutral way & commemorate ‘Electorate Awareness Campaign’. GSPFP believes that ‘Panchayati Raj’ enacted by government will facilitate percolation of power to the last man if Sarpanch, BDCs etc. are educated & made aware of their powers, rights, duties, responsibilities & for achieving this, the organisation will initiate a wide campaign, especially in rural areas of J&K. GSPFP considers itself duty bound to oppose separatists & all those who oppose abrogation of article 370 & 35a, in the best interest of Kashmiris & rest of India.
There were days in the past when a few families ruled Kashmir obtaining majority in merely 9% votes polled. GSPFP will run a huge campaign for to record high percentage of polling, so as to ensure that good, clean, young, fresh leaders govern J&K & quickly make up for the 3 odd lost decades, be it education, employment, industrialisation, trade, tourism, development or external investment. GSPFP is absolutely sure that after elections J&K will be awarded ‘Full Statehood’ & with honours.
GSPFP believes Kashmir has already started breathing freely & will, very soon, re-establish itself as the ‘Only Paradise on Mother Earth’.
