DC seeks effective, time bound redressal
RAJOURI, OCTOBER 27: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the action taken by the concerned departments on the grievances reported on LG Portal by the general public.
Officers present in the meeting were ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; AC Defence, Saleem Qureshi; CAO, Sohan Singh; CMO, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar; DMO, Naseeb Bajrang; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed Department-wise disposal of grievances and obtained to-date status wherein the concerned officers briefed about the same.
The DC stressed on the early and quality redressal of the genuine public issues to mitigate their sufferings.
While taking note of the pendency of grievances in respect of the departments, the DC asked the concerned officers to find out the cause of the issues so that the public don’t have to complain for the same issue again and again.
He also asked the officers of the concerned departments to look into the issues reported by the general public on priority and co-ordinate citizen-friendly solutions at their own level.
