Gurez is a beautiful valley at a distance of 86 kms from Bandipora and. 183 kms from Srinagar in Northern Kashmir and Southern Galit-Baltistan. Aboulve 2,400 metres above Sea level. Gurez valley is sorrounded by Snow l-Capped mountains.

Gurez valley is blessed with nature’s bounty, gushing clear water of Kishanganga and wonderfull trekking routes along the ancient silk route, Gurez is the beautiful place for tourists in Kashmir. The main motive of The Valley Wanderers group is to promote the  border tourism, and Spiritual tourism allover the Kashmir. And also to boost the tourist flow and to explore the valley, The Valley Wanderers  has started ” Kashmir Off Road Campaign”. The Valley Wanderers visited the valley  involving local youth to attract tourists.
The beauty and mesmerising view of Razdan Top, Kishanganga, Habba Khatoon Peak, Izmarg, Tarbal, Purana Tulail, Dawar and Chakwali etc adds the breathtaking beauty of Gurez.
During the visit They interacted with the locals of Gurez, located in upper reaches of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district  and spent the night at the Afsara hotel at Izzmarg Gurez  Bandipora.
The expedition was highly appreciated and liked by the local populace.
