Millions of students in the Philippines return to school after one of the world’s longest school closures. The Philippines is the last few countries to switch to in-person learning after the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting from today, about 24,000 of the country’s public schools, or at least less than half, will implement five days of face-to-face classes.
